The attachments for the nasal steamer cause the steam to be gentle! This is great because your face will be pretty close to the unit. The arm attachment for the facial steamer rotates so that you can get the perfect angle. The water cup seems to be able to hold enough water to last for a while. I wouldn't want to leave water in the unit, and it's always a good idea to wipe it down and let it dry out completely before storing away.Overall, I think this is a great steamer! I have had facial steamers before with less attachments that cost twice as much as this steamer. This one comes with a nose steamer attachment and an extendable and rotatable face steamer attachment. The build quality is great. It took me by surprise how sturdy and heavy it felt, it looks and feels almost professional grade. The extendable and rotatable arm is so convenient that I can set it up on my nightstand and lay on my bed while I steam my face. The nose attachment is what I'm more interested in to use during the winter months when my kids bring home the sniffles. The controls are not daunting and the knob in front smoothly changes the intensity of the mist/heat of the steam. One thing is that you have to be mindful to store it in a way that no debris falls into the main chamber because it is a bit hard to clean even with the brush. I keep the opening covered so no dust falls into it. For the price I think this steamer is an excellent value.
